Most clippers charge for every minute you upload, even the parts that never become a clip. Hookcut finds and previews clips for free and only charges for the clips you download or post.
Which videos can I use?
Videos you made yourself or have permission to reuse. Clipping someone else's content without permission can break copyright law and YouTube's rules.
What languages work?
Speech is transcribed in most major languages, including English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Spanish and German. Titles and hooks come back in the language of the video, and captions can be translated.
Can I post straight to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube?
Yes. Connect your accounts once and post any clip with its caption and hashtags filled in. Instagram needs a Business or Creator account.
Do I have to label faceless videos as AI?
Yes. TikTok and YouTube ask creators to label realistic AI-generated video and voices. Hookcut turns the AI label on for you when it posts a faceless video.
What if something fails?
Finding clips never costs anything. If a download or post fails after you've paid, trying again is free.
Do credits expire?
No. Buy a pack when you need it and use it whenever you like.
How do yearly plans work?
You pay once a year and get all of the year's credits right away. Yearly credits cost less per minute than any pack. Cancel any time in the billing portal and keep the credits you've already paid for.
Can Hookcut post for me automatically?
Yes. Set your daily posting times, for example 09:00, 14:00 and 19:00, and press Schedule all. Hookcut posts each clip to Instagram and YouTube at its time. TikTok asks you to confirm each post yourself.
Which payment methods do you accept?
All major cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your card number.
